WE FOCUS ON PEOPLE, NOT JUST BEHAVIOURS

At Progress Behaviour Therapy, we support private clients and NDIS participants across Improved Relationships, Specialist Behaviour Support, and Improved Daily Living.

We work alongside children, families and individuals in the environments that matter most, including home, school, and the wider community. Support is available in person or via telehealth, depending on what works best for you.

Our approach focuses on understanding each person and building practical strategies that work consistently in everyday situations.

Hi, I’m elizabeth

Behaviour Support Practitioner | B. Psych. Sc (Hons), Assoc MAPS

I work with clients to create practical, supportive strategies that fit into everyday life.

My approach is calm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I take the time to understand each individual and what matters most in their unique situation. From there, we build clear, realistic steps that support progress over time. I work closely with my clients and their support network, including parents, carers, educators, and other professionals to ensure everyone feels supported and confident in what to do.

My goal is simple. Help my clients feel understood and supported, and help those that support them feel more empowered and less overwhelmed.

how we help

We provide structured, practical behaviour support designed to reduce behaviours of concern and build long-term skills.

FUNCTIONAL BEHAVIOUR ASSESSMENTS (FBA)

We look at what drives behaviours and why they occur across different environments. By identifying patterns, triggers, and underlying needs, we build a clear understanding that guides the right support strategies and sets a strong foundation for meaningful, long-term progress.

COMPREHENSIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PLANS

These are clear, structured strategies tailored to the individual, focusing on reducing behaviours of concern while building practical skills that support communication, independence, and daily functioning.

Interim Behaviour Support Plans

Access immediate, short-term guidance to help manage risk and stabilise situations. They focus on practical steps that improve safety and reduce stress while a more detailed assessment and long-term plan are being developed, ensuring support is in place from the outset.

Plan Implementation & Ongoing Support

Ongoing support focuses on implementing strategies through regular coaching, feedback, and adjustments. We work closely with families, carers, and educators to ensure plans are followed consistently, challenges are addressed early, and progress is tracked over time in real-life situations.

Practical, personalised support that works in real life

We offer practical support that fits into real life, not just on paper. By getting to know each person and their environment, we develop strategies that can be used consistently without adding pressure. Through collaboration and ongoing guidance, we help build skills, reduce challenges, and support gradual, lasting progress.
