We believe meaningful progress comes from understanding the individual—not just the behaviour.
Hi, I’m elizabeth
Behaviour Support Practitioner | B. Psych. Sc (Hons), Assoc MAPS
I work with clients to create practical, supportive strategies that fit into everyday life.
My approach is calm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I take the time to understand each individual and what matters most in their unique situation. From there, we build clear, realistic steps that support progress over time. I work closely with my clients and their support network, including parents, carers, educators, and other professionals to ensure everyone feels supported and confident in what to do.
My goal is simple. Help my clients feel understood and supported, and help those that support them feel more empowered and less overwhelmed.
our philosophy
We believe behaviour is a form of communication. When someone is struggling, there is always a reason.
Rather than focusing only on stopping behaviours, we focus on understanding what is driving them. This allows us to respond in a way that supports the individual while reducing stress for those around them.
- Our work centres on:
- Respecting each person as an individual
- Understanding the function behind behaviour
- Building skills that support communication and independence
- Creating strategies that feel manageable in everyday life
OUR APPROACH
Our approach is steady and realistic. We prioritise progress that can be sustained, not short-term fixes, and work alongside families and professionals to ensure everyone understands the plan and feels supported in using it.
Personalised & Family-Centred
Every individual and family is different. We take the time to understand your unique strengths, challenges and goals, tailoring support that fits your everyday life.
Understanding the ‘Why’
Behaviour is communication. We look beyond the surface to understand what’s driving behaviours, so we can create meaningful, effective strategies.
Practical, Real-Life Strategies
Our support is designed to work in real-world settings—at home, school and in the community—so you can confidently apply strategies day to day.
Collaborative & Consistent Support
We work closely with families, carers, educators and other professionals to ensure everyone is aligned and support is consistent across environments.
Practical, personalised support that works in real life
We offer practical support that fits into real life, not just on paper. By getting to know each person and their environment, we develop strategies that can be used consistently without adding pressure. Through collaboration and ongoing guidance, we help build skills, reduce challenges, and support gradual, lasting progress.
